Mustelid Manor Memoirs

"Having an aura of menace is like having a pet weasel, because you rarely meet someone who has one, and when you do it makes you want to hide under the coffee table." ~Lemony Snicket~ (from The Slippery Slope)

Disappointed

Sassy sent us what she calls "The Real Story." Simba is her pal and here are more recent photos of Simba laying on the sofa patiently waiting for Sassy to wake up so that they can play. We aren't sure if we believe her or not.

If Mash is our example of cat behavior, then the original picture must be right. Perhaps Simba is smart enough to drag Sassy's dead body to different places to make it appear as if Sassy moved on her own? And then Simba stands guard to make sure that no one gets close enough to discover the truth. That sounds more likely. Who could possibly like Sassy? And more outrageous yet, a cat liking a ferret?

Simba Succeeded!

For a year we tried to kill her. Simba finally did Sassy in and cleverly hid her body in Nikki's laundry. Yea Simba!

Afraid of Feet?

Okay, what is wrong with him? New humans came in with sandals on--one was even a baby human with toes showing--Crimson got scared and fuzzy! Where does he come from?! A ferret too scared to bite toes? Unheard of! The rest of us were so bad that the little human was dancing around and screaming and his mom had to carry him around. Now THAT is the reaction we expect! Scared and fuzzy... You have got to be joking...

Finally!!! After 2 Years!!!

"Mom noticed today that she had quite sexistly put the big toy box where only the boys could reach it. She moved them down so we could play with them too. Of course after much rooting and snooping, we decided we didn't want anything out of there anyhow..."
